Christmas is over! I’ve always loved Christmas. Being Pinoy, I’m usually already in a Christmas mood by October. It’s the same this year. But along with the Christmas cheer - there’s a mixed bag of feelings full of guilt and grief. I know el jowa and I are extremely privileged that we got to fly out to Portugal for the holidays. Even though we pretty much took our quarantine from Barcelona to his hometown (where the restrictions are just as bad) - being able to have a different view outside of our window and a fireplace to warm our assess with, is a luxury I will never take for granted.
